Newbie here.

I got the assembled mk3.

I'm trying to print this.

I have tried using pursa control and the slicr. with and without supports.

It seems to unstick to the bed at the same location about 3/4 of the way up.

The bed looks clean and i wiped it down with the alcohol pads.

Having trouble uploading my g-code. if it would help let me know and i'll work it out

What orientation are you printing it in? (Also...what material?)

If you are printing it in the way it is on thingiverse I have had issue with prints like that as well. With minimal contact like it has... it gets knocked off if there is ANY sort of blob when it tries to go over that gap in the middle. I've not printed this part but I have had similar problems (as posted in my catching thread) when trying to print with something with such a small foot print. I wonder if you would have better luck flipping the piece completely around.

Ah... i just noticed that the author of that part said the same thing I just did. (oops... should have read first)

"The core can be printed without support without issues. If you have trouble getting it to stick to the bed try printing it upside down, the overhang will be a bit worse but will probably print ok with good cooling."

Parts like that you can add a brim in the slicer- this helps with holding the part to the bed.

I just printed this one in the default orientation (and added supports for the bottom hinge pins) and it came out fine. Took ~2.5 hours:

Im printing in the stock pla that came with the printer.

I've tried using the slicr with a larger brim. also pursa control with supports everywhere and with no supports.

ill send a picture next but just waiting for my email server to come up again.

Wow... not sure what the problem with the one on the right is. I am going to guess it's the same thing that I ran into/ that I was talking about. That lip of the top of the cup where the headphones go is REALLY small... So you have a VERY minimal footprint on the bed of the printer. I've solved this in the past by increasing the support layer count but I don't like the finish of the project at the end of it.

I think if you flip that thing 180 degrees on the long axis you will be happier with the results.
