Elephant Parade Maquette from myminifactory

Hello!

I try to learn use Slic3r Prusa edition and wondering what kind of setting should I use for Elephant Parade Maquette from myminifactory model? I use Prusa PLA color grey for this. Can somebody share screenshots or files for SliC3r settings

Hi Arto,
The model info suggests 0.2mm,
it also suggests 0.1mm rectilinear infil...???

which I take to mean 10% infill

Why don't printing it with standard PRUSA profile with support (on build plate only) ?

I scaled down to 40 % this model. How can I remove that pattern at top of the elephant? Also stomach of the Elephant has bad printing. I used Slic3r PE 1.38.6 setting MK3 0.15 Optimal. Maybe Extra perimeters if needed and Ensure vertical shell thickness tapped on? How about this Slic3r pic, can I make that red area and stomach to better?

You cant remove that. That's normal, that's printing. But you can minimize it. Maybe you use less layerhight or you use the Layer editing feature in slic3r.

The stoma is also normal, This is the place where the overhang is at maximum. The printer cannot print "in the air". Use support or accept it as it is.

Re: Elephant Parade Maquette from myminifactory

This is a lucky little elephant, it survived 5 power cuts today.

I used variable layer height at the belly, jaw and top of the back

printing without supports lead to a missing trunk and a bit of droop under the belly,
so i did it again with supports

and what yu see is what you get, after removing the supports, no other cleaning up
