Crashing at normal speed, no issues at 180% - firmware?
The issue is in the title, really. I've got a print of 6 objects that use the whole bed, and when I attempt to print at 100% speed using the default PLA profile on a stock MK3S with 0.4 nozzle, I get constant crashes to the point where the print may or may not complete. However, I have found that exactly the same code file, when I manually dial up the print speed to 180%+, works without absolute no flaws. Print quality is excellent, and I have zero crashes or issues with the print, and no problems with bed adhesion.
So, what could be the cause of the mess when printing at normal speed? I will probably check things like belt tension and the like once I get this round of prints done, but why would a print fail on 100% speed, but print beautifully faster?
I should point out these issues seem to have started with my upgrade to the latest firmware, but that could be purely coincidental. Although, I am having an odd FW crash every time I attempt to print the same model as a singe object, although only after the print completes, not during, so there are all kinds of strange things going on.
