connecting of plastic plates using prusa mk3s
Hello,
I was curious to know if it is possible to connect 2 plastic plates using the prusa mk3s, something like extrusion polymer welding.
I was thinking of 2 plates that are 6mm apart from each other that get filled with a plastic such as pla. The plates would be made of pla, perhaps printed but could be anything if only the plastics are compatible with joining.
If this would be possible how would I go with programming the 3d printer in a straight line at a certain height and x- and y- position

Should be possible if you use your self-written gcode or an NC command tool.
But I would recommend a 3D pen for such tasks.

The thing is I wanted to test multiple things like,
What happens if the axis speed/extrusion speed is too fast, too slow, what temperature would be needed to connect the two plates together properly.
How the geometry looks like when the above happens, like a thick line or a blob.
