Bottom layer-link to pic included

I'm getting good even results in the vertical layers, but I'm wondering--is there a way to make the bottom layer tighter, or would this be considered a correct bottom layer?
Thanks for any advice.

Your 1st layer should be nice and flat like a solid smooth surface, or if you have a powdercoated sheet, it should look like the bumpy side of one of the prusa plastic abs parts that came with your printer.

You need to adjust your Z using the first layer calibration.

See: https://help.prusa3d.com/article/ZhBlGFD9Ah-live-adjust-z

if you can't create the correct pattern because you have gone past -2 mm .. move your probe up a tiny bit and try again.

Can a moderator move this to the "first prints" forum ? it might be better reference material there.

OK, thanks, much appreciated. From the pictures in the link you provided, it appears my nozzle is a bit too high.
