ABS printing issus..
Hi everybody
I have big problems to print in ABS, you must know that I have doubts about the machine itself because I also have some problems with the PETG and small doubts in PLA. As a result, problems with ABS may be only the amplification of the problems encountered with all other materials to a lesser extent.
That's why in the attached images I added a model in PLA to compare.
So the printer is a I3 MK3 (kit mounted)
all the filaments are from Prusa
the nozzle is a new 0.4 (changed 1 week ago)
the cat is slice with prusacontrol in 0.15mm per layer (optimal) problems mainly on one side? (I will try to print it by changing the orientation)
For more certainty I decided to print a model whose quality is without reproach the Marvin 3DHub.
Right from the Gcode tests in PLA to 0.1 per layer of 3DHub (I still notice some irregularities in the overhang just between the legs)
On the left the ABS slicer version with Prusa3D Slic3r Mk3 (SlicerPE) with the default Prusa ABS settings.
The legs seem ok but from the overhang it's horrible ...
If you have any ideas on possible reasons you are welcome !!!
I continue my investigation and keep you informed if it improves
thank you

Try turning on a little cooling, maybe 25%. ABS doesn't need as much cooling as PLA, but I've found it can benefit from a bit of a breeze.
