Z Lift/Hop Confusion
I have been experimenting with TPU for the first time. Unsurprisingly I suffered a bit of stringing, so I tried to disable the z-lift. I did this initially within filament settings/filament override and unchecked the Lift Z checkbox. Much to my annoyance z still hopped. After a little bit of digging I set Lift Z to zero in Printer Settings/Extruder 1. This did stop z lifting and my TPU stringing issue departed. My question is what does the override setting in Filaments Settings actually do?
Kind regards
