Winter Storm Power Outage Messed Up My Printer
The power went out in the middle of a print and it seems to have messed up all the X, Y and Z axis calibration. I've restarted with the self test wizard and it gives me this error. I bought this a few months ago fully assembled, but the manual says for the kit, follow the instructions of case 1 and I can't seem to find case 1.
Any help is appreciated.
RE: Winter Storm Power Outage Messed Up My Printer
Assuming your problem was caused by the power outage, it could be a surge damaged something (motor, circuit board). You might want to contact prusa customer support (use the chat, everyone seems to say it works better -- https://www.prusa3d.com/ 'Chat now' link at bottom of window)
https://cdn.prusa3d.com/downloads/manual/prusa3d_manual_mk3s_en.pdf page 19 references your error and it says...
Axis length - {XY}:
The printer measures the length of the axis by moving the print head from end to end twice. If the measured value is different from the physical length, your print head might be blocked from moving all the way. Check by hand if the print head moves smoothly when the printer is powered off.
Those symptoms are much more likely to be caused by a power spike - which might then have taken the lines down ...
I agree with @jimb, take this one to the Prusa support team and tell them it's electrical storm damage... they will take you through the procedures to make certain the printer is safe to use.

Thanks for the replies everyone. It turns out that the power going out had nothing to do with it.
A little lube on the rails solved the problem and I'm back in business!
