Will the printed MK3s+ parts work on just a standard MK3S?
I recently had to replace printed parts on the extruder of one of the MK3S printers at my university's makerspace, and I printed the parts for the MK3S+ instead. I've assembled it, and it seems like it works, but I'm not sure if it is okay until I can get a replacement nozzle which originally broke.

IIrc it's only the filament sensor that is significantly different.
Cheerio,

They should work just fine.

Generally they will certainly *not* work just fine.
If those you had to replace worked, then fine. but several of the parts look quite different; for example the fan shroud (should you decide to print that), the ball insert for the original extruder (or the analog part for the MMU2S variant), most importantly both sides of the parts which hold the heatsink are *very* different (you can't even fit the original with the PTFE liner in it since it simply doesn't have the space).
In general, if you still have MK3S (non "+") extruders, be sure to have those spare parts, or by Murphy's Law one of the noncompatible parts will break for sure.

Of course mixing and matching won’t work, you’re right. Maybe I misread what the OP meant, but I was under the assumption he printed (and used) the complete set of Mk3S+ parts.

As long as you don't mind printing a full set, and adapting the hot end's PTFE tube to the new design, it'll work fine. See the knowledgebase to see how you need to trim the PTFE: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/how-to-trim-ptfe-tube-original-prusa-printers_22424
