Which firmware to use
I had MK3 and bought the upgrade kit a while back and upgraded to MK3S. Do I use the MK3S firmware now? My filament sensor is not working, not sure if it ever worked, I never turned it ON until recently. I read somewhere and one cause might be using the wrong firmware. I am currently using MK3S 3.8.0 firmware

MK3 and MK3S are not the same printer, use the one for your model, in de download page, they are also not the same.
Sensor could be broken cable with your build,
or dirt in the sensor, clean the sensor, press air inside or open it if possible.

I've been printing with mk3s firmware and never had any problem. Just to clarify, the upgrade kit doesn't require the firmware to be upgraded to mk3s? I flashed the firmware to MK3 and now the printer is telling me I have MK3 firmware in MK3S printer. This alert pops up everytime I restart the printer.. I'll try to reflash the printer and see how it goes
