V6 Gold HotEnd upgrade on a MK3 (will it work?)
Hey guys,
I broke a nozzle off into my MK3 hotend. My fault, it happens. Turning a bad thing into a good thing, it's upgrade time! Can I buy the V6 Gold HotEnd install that using the same sensors that came with the MK3? Will this just bolt in? Since my printers broken I can't print any adapter so I need a bolt in solution.

Yes it will fit. However you may be better of getting the following parts instead unless you really need a hardened nozzle:-
The titanium heatbreak is probably better for you than the gold plated heat sink. Also if you can reuse your existing heat sink that brings the price back down to close to the kit price.
The gold plated is not available till 29th June and 3rd July for the parts from Matter Hackers. Allowing for shipping and exchange rates it looks like buying direct from E3D would be around the same price as Matter Hackers but you would get the parts around 29th June assuming a one week shipping time. So if you are going for speed might be best to order direct from the E3D in the UK. The gold plated kit does work out more expensive direct from E3D though.
