upgrading mk3 to mk3s or mk3s+
I picked up a huge lot with two MK3 printers a MMU2, bunch of filament and it has 2 upgrade kits to upgrade the printers to Mk3s
Now my question is I see there is also a Mk3s+ upgrade kit.
Can I go straight to the Mk3s+ or do I have to upgrade the printer to Mk3S first? been googling like crazy but can't find an answer. I did watch the Mk3 to Mk3s videos that are out there and it seems quiet a bit of work so if I can go straight to the s+ upgrade without having to do a bunch of work twice that would be great.
Thank you

I would upgrade to mk3s first get it all running smoothly and then think about going to mk3s+

RE: upgrading mk3 to mk3s or mk3s+
Thank you. This morning I started that upgrade and probably a good thing.
I don’t know what was on it. But it wasn’t the mk3 extruder. I have the feeling they out a new sensor in a older body and flashed it
The body that was in it the belt kinda sat in a loop instead of a wave shape. Not sure how to explain it.
anywya had to leave for an apt but as soon as I’m back I have to plug in a few wires and I can print again.
Thank you for taking the time to reply to me

And I wouldn't recommend using mmu until you know what you're doing and get good prints

RE: upgrading mk3 to mk3s or mk3s+
Thank you. It’s printing again and very well.
it took me a bit. The z offset after the upgrade to mk3s was a lot larger. Couldn’t get first layer to stick.
hiwever now it’s working great. Printing some x-axis component as we speak. Previous owner never did any updates I guess it has the motor Mount without the adjusting screws.
anyway life is good agai.
