Updating Prusa firmware fo a Volcano Nozzle
So far I've managed to get the firmware into Arduino and change the #define Z_MAX_POS to 202 instead of 210. However when I move to compile the code I run into a weird error that, as far as I can tell, doesn't have anything to do with my changes to the Firmware. I've included a screenshot of the error and can also provide a copy of the error message if that would help. Thanks in Advance!

Which firmware do you need (version; MK3 or MK3S)? I could change z_max to 202 and upload here.

Just the MK3. That'd be fantastic!

@zzyxan
Which version? 3.9.1?

I think the latest Firmware would work. Tell the truth I’m pretty new to this whole thing and I bought the printer off a guy why had a catastrophic crash. It was super cheap with all the melted pla around a the hotend. So whatever you think is best I’m willing to try lol.

Well, I upload you once the 3.8.1 and once the 3.9.1 for the MK3 and z_max changed to 202.

So far so good. Just ran an XYZ Cal after flashing the firmware you sent. Ran through it like a champ. I really can't express how greatful I am for your help. I've had this printer for 2 months, and between all the software issues and trying to remove the old nozzle I was at my wits end. Thanks for looking out for the noobies!!
RE: Updating Prusa firmware fo a Volcano Nozzle
I also really need the firmware compiled with a shorter Z max. The file above is no longer available, any chance someone can upload that file again or a compiled firmware with z max set to 200?

@mac-3

RE: Updating Prusa firmware fo a Volcano Nozzle
Thank you -- sorry, knew there was more info I should provide. When I go to support page I find this (does that include the info you need?):
3.9.3 - 3556
Einsy_10a
E3Dv6full
Jan 7 2021
I am happy to go to most recent version of firmware if that will not be an issue.
RE: Updating Prusa firmware fo a Volcano Nozzle
Update: Finally got this to work. Issue was that I was using the latest Github files. Someone recommended that I use these files: https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/tree/MK3_3.11.1 and I was able to compile things perfectly. Finally, got my 3D printer calibrating the Z-axis.

👍
happy printing!
