Uneven Bed Heating

Running a stock MK3s+ and noticed poor adhesion issues on a PETG print, textured plate. Checked Z-height, which was correct, but prints weren't sticking to the front and back of the plate. I happened to touch the plate, and it barely felt warm on the edge. I used a thermal camera, and only the middle third  (in the Y axis) of the bed was heating at all. The rest of the bed was basically just above room temp. the heater connections and bed thermistor are fine. Has anyone had a bed plate fail like this?

This may cause the current draw to go our of spec or localised overheating  - potentially dangerous.  Contact Prusa Support via chat and they will take you through the necessary checks.

RE: Uneven Bed Heating

I just did a test with my thermal camera and saw that there were 4 zones heating up on the bed.   It is possible that the bed has failed.  You can purchase replacements.  I would check the voltage at the terminals to the bed but I doubt that you will find a problem there.
