Under extruding
My most recent print had significant under extrusion in the top few layers. I assumed I had a clogged nozzle and did several cold pulls. The tip came out clean so I tried another print. Still significant under extrusion and I can hear the extruder stepper clicking and see that it is not feeding filament consistently. I triple checked the extruder tensioner with no improvement and finally disassembled the extruder and visually checked the entire filament path - its clean and clear. Is the stepper motor bad? How would I check?
Prusa MK3S. Firmware 3.9.2. MMU2S is installed but printing in single mode so not applicable I think.
RE: Under extruding
Try different filament.
Do a nozzle change.
Try higher temperature nozzle.
let us see a picture of failed print, and a first layer picture.
What filament are you using? Change some settings? How more info you give , the better the help will be.

If the E-stepper motor gets too warm and you print PLA, the filament may become soft and will not extrude consistently anymore.
To keep the stepper cooler, you could add a 40x40mm fan.
