But, I don't know why it's broken. I also don't know how to check it in my electronics lab.

-------------------------

Hi, Fuchsr,

"... For the SuperPINDA it should be positioned around 1.5mm above the nozzle to get into the -1.0 range for Live Z." Thanks for the information.

"That gives you enough wiggle room up and down.
Instructions for adjusting the PINDA are in: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/how-to-replace-superpinda-mk3s-mk3s_179920

I put this little helper on Prusaprinters.org to help position the SuperPINDA: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/57192. Works better than zip ties or credit cards, which have less well-defined heights.

BUT, the Z axis failed: In the 4-point test, he was dragging the sheet of paper. In the 9-point test, the nozzle was pressing against the heated base at either point 5 or point 8.

Well, the PINDA V2 sensor failed. My first question:

     1. Why does the PINDA V2 sensor break?

Yesterday, I have installed a new Super PINDA probe. When the nozzle rubs against a piece of paper (but it can move) placed on the heated bed, I have clamped the probe exactly 1.00mm above the bed using a precision gauge. Now, the live_ Z setting value is too high: -1900. My second question:

    2. About how high should I place the probe to get a lower Live Z setting?

Best regards to all
