Toshiba Flashair W-04 no longer works
I have been using this card with my MK3S successfully for some time but it has stopped connecting to my wireless network.
I have recently moved house but am using the same router and wireless network parameters and everything else works fine.
I have tried reconfiguring the Flashair according to info I originally followed when I initially successfully set the card up after original purchase. (Chris's Basement, Matts Hub etc)
I can't get the card to connect to the wifi network no matter what I try.
It will still work as a normal SD card for read and write of files.
How do I know if my current problems are configuration related or whether the hardware components of the card itself have physically failed?
RE: Toshiba Flashair W-04 no longer works
I have a similar setup and I do remember having a bit of trouble to get it going as an extra drive on my main computer.
Ended up using the APPMODE=6 as none of the other modes suggested worked. Also some card adapters to USB would no work well with it.
I assume that your WiFi modem retained the same password and security parameters despite being shut down for the move.
1)
Have you tried putting the card in a laptop/computer and see if you can see it listed in your WiFi router. Note there is a small "LOCK" switch on the left side that can be moved when inserting the card.
2)
Putting the card in the computer can you read the configuration "CONFIG" file?
3)
Using the FlashAir software on the computer can you find the card?
