Thermal Error/Anomaly/Runaway Issue
A few weeks ago I had an issue with my prints pausing due to thermal anomalies. I replaced the thermistor and that seemed to solve the issue. I recently started printing with PETG though (I've exclusively used PLA until now), and I've been having a lot of errors again, so much so that I can't even run a PID calibration. It definitely smells like filament is burning as well. Most of the troubleshooting guides have multiple possible explanations, and they all seem to involve disassembling parts of the printer and reassembly. I'm still pretty new to 3D printing and troubleshooting, and I thought I'd reach out here to see if anyone else has advice on how to fix this before I tear my whole printer apart or buy a replacement part I don't actually need.
