Thermal Anomaly after X-axis upgrade

I may have screwed the pooch when I recently changed my X and Y axis carriages to the Boogie upgrades. I got some new LM8UU bearings from Misumi at the same time and everything went pretty smooth - except when I powered up and saw that the print bed was heating pretty slow.

I flipped it over and saw nothing out of the ordinary but I checked the heater bed connections and re-tightened it. Switched it on again and now the REVO hotend is throwing an error. I checked the wiring and connection but nothing was out of the ordinary. The hotend is now not heating up as well.

I can't believe that I managed to screw up both the hotend and the bed when I changed the X and Y axis as I was careful not to disturb any of the heater wires or bend/break anything.

I know I'm probably going to have to do a complete teardown but what are some of the things I should test with a multimeter or look for?

Before you spend much time with this, read other posts where I talk about the "thermal anomaly" and the "fix" which is to deactivate it.

It was working fine with the REVO hotend before this. Never encountered the anomaly.

Going to check all the wiring out and I've got both Wago and quick disconnect fittings, may replace the standard (weak) revo ones.

Migod. What a ride.

Checked all fuses, connections, voltage, resistance etc on every single hotend connection and heatbed.
Heatbed wouldn't heat up and there was no power at Einsy (board) end or the heatbed connections. Rechecked them.

Thermal error when trying to selftest or just heat up the bed to 50c

Went through a bunch of comments on this forum to narrow down whether both the hotend and the heatbed were bad, or did I short out the board somehow. In the end I disconnects the Panic Power wire and all worked.

Not sure how I damaged that wire but jeez, what a rabbit hole of testing and confirming that the numbers were correct.

Simple fix.
