Temperature variations
Hello,
French user, sorry.
FW 3.3.1
PID ok
Simplify 3D orSlic3R
Since I put my MK3 in a box, I have a difference of 10 degrees when switching on the fan at 100%.
Thermal shock ?
Downgraded to 3.3.0 for testing, I noticed that the fan runs less quickly at 100% on this firmware.
So I have to put the fan at 70% in firmware 3.3.0 and the temperature is stable
Re: Temperature variations
Hi,
At that temperature, what are you going to print with 100% fan speed? It seems that the the heater are not powerful enough to reach temperature with 100% and I think this is normal.
Have you ever tried the 45' print fan duct? If I'm not mistaken, the new print fan part directly blowing to the bottom and avoid cooling/hitting the heater block.
Re: Temperature variations
PETG Orange from Prusa and black also.
I wanted to put a ventilation and I forgot to adjust it. oops.
I realized that when the fan is triggered if it is 100%, I have a loss of 10 ° and it does not go up.
Whatever the temperature! Whatever filament type !
ex: 210 degree for PLA, this is the same, I have a difference of 10 ° at the ignition of the fan if it is 100%
Re: Temperature variations
I think it is time that you try out the 45' degree or the r3 fan shroud and see how it performs. It should be compatible with your current extruder cover except that you just need to pull bit of extra wire for the print fan for this setup
Re: Temperature variations
Hello,
so even with the 70% you notice the Temperature DROP ?
I've the mk2.5 with the 45 degrees fan mount , so compared to the classic parallel fan mount, what is the MAX PERCENTAGE of fan i can put on slic3r to be comparable to the 100% of classic fan mount (and avoiding the temperature DROP )? Less than 70% ?
Have you done another test with different % of FAN ?
