Strange Stringing, Poor Quality Help
What’s up guys -
I tried Reddit but with no success 🙁 so I thought I would try here! I have had a Prusa MK3S+ for about a year now. At first, it printed super reliably with amazing print quality, but over the past year, both quality and reliability have gotten progressively worse. I have only printed with PLA and PETG, no abrasive filaments or TPU. About a month ago I couldn’t get a first layer down at all, (regardless of Z height) so I replaced my nozzle a couple weeks ago with a diamondback, which helped significantly. Since then, I have noticed this strange stringing, with large random globs rather than the smaller whisps. Print quality since the new nozzle is about the same as just before the swap - it’s almost as if it has extrusion issues?
Anyway, I have run into a wall, and I am out of ideas. I have tried messing with temps and retraction, new filaments, (dry filaments), different brands of filament, but I can’t figure this one out. Let me know if you have any ideas, any help would be appreciated.
