Stealth mode noisy since firmware upgrade

My Mk3 used to run 3.4.0 but yesterday upgraded to a 3.5.1 firmware with a fan mod to stop it making that nasty whine when printing PETG because the PWM control speed was at an audible frequency.

But it's 'killed' stealth mode, it's so much more noisy now. It doesn't appear to do that accelerate/decelerate thing anymore when moving the axis, just a constant fast motion. I can't differentiate the printing noise levels between Normal & Stealth anymore.

Is that a permanent change to the firmware? If so I might go back to 3.4.0 because the new stealth mode is perhaps more annoying than the fan whine when it was running slower than 100%.

Re: Stealth mode noisy since firmware upgrade

I've gone back to 3.3.1 firmware for my Mk3 because I tried 3.4.0-RC2 with the cooling fan changes to stop the high pitch whine when its speed is lower than 100%, and stealth mode still did the constant speed of movments during printing which made it louder than 3.3.1..

What changed since 3.3.1 that stopped stealth mode doing the acceleration-deceleration thing during movements?

Can we have that back please?

I would like newer firmware but not at the expense of losing the quieter stealth mode.
