Slic3r PE GUI Perspective?
Why is the GUI perspective of Slic3r PE for the print bed, look different then PrusaControl or Simplify3D?
Note the front of the print bed is closer but appears smaller (further way???).
PrusaControl doesn't do this...
Neither does Simplify3D doesn't either...
Just curious?

Re: Slic3r PE GUI Perspective?
Marvin,
I'm seeing the same thing on Mac version as well. Since this appears to be a Open GL context, I think someone tweaked the perspective / camera fov. Also, I noticed the image for the 'bed' isn't being rendered all that well at this angle.
Re: Slic3r PE GUI Perspective?
Slic3r uses an "orthographic" display. Fusion 360 lets you select between orthographic and perspective ("normal") views for example. There's a long history as to why, and a lot of technical discussions on which is superior which I can only barely follow. If you search on "slic3r orthographic" you should find some info. In short, the actual length of each line relative to the others is preserved.

Ah, but it's not! Try taking a ruler an measuring the top and bottom sides. They should be the same. At least if I got it right. It looks weird, but's it's arguably more technically "correct".
