Selftest error Front Fan!

Hello to everyone,

I have updated firmware 3.3.0 for my problem Prusa mk3.
I'm starting to do the calibration from scratch.
Self tets start the front fan when it starts.
So the fan turns, but it gives a "Self Test error! Front print fan? Wiring error" error.
Tahank you.

Re: Selftest error Front Fan!

My fan started making a little noise. The prints started having problems. So i ran selftest to check it out. Same thing just happened to me. Any solution?

Move the fan all the way to the left and try again.

Sound weird, but it's the first thing support told me to do when I had an issue. Then the fan worked. I could build on the left third of my printer while the new fan was in transit. Day three, I learned I could lift the extruder wire bundle a cm or so where it entered the Einsy box and the whole build plate was available again.

very likely the fan speed sensor wire is broken (the yellow one) you can set the fan under settings and temp and then go to the support extruder menu item and see what the fan speed is listed at if you move the extruder left and right and it changes speed or stops detecting all together then you know the yellow wire is broken and needs repair.
