SD card not sorting files
Just sliced and saved some small files for an object I am printing on my MK3S+. They are small files. I have a 32 GB card with only 2.48 GB being used. Upon putting the card back in my machine it will not display any of the files on it after I select"Print from SD". I am guessing that the card has too many files on it for the machine to sort and I need anew SD cared. This happened to the first card I had on the machine so I just replaced it with a new one and all was well. Do I have to do this again since the card has plenty of room for more files? I should know the answer to this but I don't. The computer I use is an iMAC.

RE: SD card not sorting files
I do not use the Mac, but if this happened to me I would suspect either a failure of the card or a card format error.
The first thing I would do is try a known good card and see if the problem follows the card or follows the printer.
RE: SD card not sorting files
I hope you have files in sub folders. iirc there is a max number of files it can handle in a single directory, its only a little 8 bit chip after all. I just checked and I have 4.8gb of files on my card spread out over 47 directories and my Mk3 can handle that fine, if a little slowly when the number of files in a directory goes up.
RE: SD card not sorting files
Hi, Thanks of the tips.
I have everything all in one place, that's probably my problem.

That solved my problem. I just made a new folder. I should know better.
Thanks, Tom
