Revert back to a decent firmware

How do i got about rolling back the firmware on my printer and MMU to a release that actually works?

This latest version is a mess. I have never had so much trouble with this printer until installing it. It doesn't wind the filament all the way (properly) to the extruder. The FSensor doesn't seem to pick it up. When it unloads the FINDA doesn't detect that. i get reports of jammed filament - its not jammed.

Basically I have to remove the tube from the extruder, grab the filament as it comes out, shove it into the extruder and hope it catches.  Usually works after about the 4th or 5th attempt.

NONE of this happened until I "upgraded" the firmware.

Is it as simple as overwriting the firmware on the machine with an older version?

Yes, but make sure the .hex file is installed from your current system and not from an inhouse server or network storage drive, like I did. Maintain your all your updates on your current system, that way you can bounce back and forth as you wish 😉
