Replacing hot end. 2 wires that I can't figure where they were.
I had a failed ABS print that left the hot end encased in plastic. I broke the thermistor wires and nicked the heater wires. I purchased a new hot end but while cleaning things up I found 2 wires and I don't know where they terminate. They were in the sheathing. The photo shows the mystery wires beside the thermistor wires.

which version of printer?
i know on my mk3 there should be 4 wires to the hot end, 2 for thermistor , 2 for the heater.
RE:
I've never seen wire like that on a Prusa. Perhaps the prior owner installed a higher wattage heater element, or even non-E3D off brand? Maybe even replaced broken heater / thermistor wires in the bundle with something he had on hand.
But, the heater block has the nozzle, the heater element (2 wires), and the thermistor element (2 wires).
When you replace these. the new parts come with wire long enough to reach and plug into the control board.
