replacement nozzles?
What is a good/fast source of replacement nozzles in the USA. I'll buy from Prusa if need be, but would like to get a quick delivery and wondered if any good experiences from amazon's listings. I don't think those nozzles are compatible with the E3D V6 extruders. While still M6 thread there are 2 basic types, one set designed for the creality style extruders so often called Mk8 etc which is mentioned in that listing and ones designed for the E3D V6 series. The threaded length on the Mk8 tends to be slightly shorter. That results in a gap between the nozzle and heatbreak usually which then leaks.
Just stick with proper E3D nozzles. You will have far less trouble, or at least make absolutely sure the description states for V6 (not M6).

I think PrintedSolid.com is the US distributor.. V6 E3D brass. $7 USD.. but there should be lots of distributors in US.. matterHackers has them for $8. Brass is great for PLA/PETG/TPU.. but will wear.. wood and filaments with additives will wear more.. You can get hardened nozzles.. but you might need to tweak the thermal profiles.. I use brass and replace 6mo to a year.
