Replace filament error

Hi folks.

I've been having problems with the thermal anomoly error coming on 20 -30 times during a 10 minute print. Sometimes 5 times with 3 pauses while the 9-point bed level detection is going on.

It was a lesser problem before I had to replace my hotend assembly after an enormous blob of filament messed up the wires to my heater block. So I bought this new assembly direct from E3D, and fitted it. The connection to the Einsy board from the hotend thermistor doesn't seem to be a good fit, and it is since I installed this item that I get all these errors.

Today, because I couldn't get a simple print to happen, I re-did My PID tuning and ran another heat model, and jiggled the connector about a bit on the einsy board, making a failed attempt to sellotape it into place.

Since then I can't even get as far as a thermal anomoly error because it keeps telling me to change the filament. I suspect that either I have displaced something  on the Einsy board, or that the filament detector has randomly failed.

How do I check for this, please?

Cheers,

Pad

Check the filament sensor lead hasn't come loose...  or broken.

Cheerio,
