I loosened the screws, moved the pulley a bit away from the motor, and re-tightened. I think it's OK now.</p>]]></content:encoded>

For example, the belt test resulted in Y-axis failure. (Not an out-of-range number, but flat out failure.)</p><p>(Note that the picture isn't the Y-axis motor -- I just wanted to show what I meant by pulley screws.)</p><p>Then I loosened the screws a little, leaving them snug but not apparently too tight, and the printer started to work again.</p><p>Why are too-tight screws a problem?</p>]]></content:encoded>
