Prints "freeze" after 3.8.0 upgrade
I recently upgraded to 3.8.0 on my upgraded MK3S and started using Prusa Slicer 2.0. My print quality has improved dramatically when compared to my previously customized Simplify3D prints.
However, multiple prints generated with this new arrangement fail by "freezing" mid-print, in different locations. The head stops in place, a small blob of filament will ooze out and temperatures will be maintained while the head sits in place on the print. My son overheard a beep tonight, so there is a possibility this is happening during power panic, although nothing else about the physical condition of the printer has changed.
I tried pausing and resuming the print, creating a power panic condition by unplugging the wire, even changing the filament, but the printer head will move back into place after these operations and just freeze in the same spot.
Each time prints have failed in this way, the failure has been in different spots at different percentages of completion. The same prints that are failing have also succeeded.
RE: Prints "freeze" after 3.8.0 upgrade
I just confirmed this is happening during power panic by unplugging the printer. I see that there is a post on the GitHub repository from another user about this. I will add a comment to it.
