Printer stops heating
My printer will print for a good hour or so, then stop printing because the nozzle and the bed have lost temperature. Thinking there was an issue with the heater cartridge, I ordered a new one and replaced it. The problem persisted.
Powering the printer off and then on again doesn't work; I try to preheat it, but it refuses to heat. The bed power led does not turn on, and the nozzle does not heat. Could this be a power supply issue?
We have had this printer for the past ~4 years, and it worked just fine until February this year.
If it never heats check the fuses on the Einsy board.
If it heats for a while and then fails you may have a thermister problem - or possibly just a poor connection, pull and reinsert all the plugs on the board while you're checking the fuses...
Cheerio,
