printer drops much filament during heat-up.
Hello,
when my MK3S+ heats up much PLA comes out of the nozzle. this never stops. also during printing multiple items the at the same time, if the print head moves from one object to another, the filament never stops and comes out of the nozzle. I have already changed the nozzle but - as I thought - this did not help.
So 80% of my prints fail. (100% if the printer prints multiple objects at the same time.
Any idea would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Thomas
PS: The filament is new (1 week,), the printer is in a warm and dry environment. (these days in my living room with 21C), No matter, if I take the "Prusa orange", or white filament, or black, the problem is always the same.
PPS: When I print a small plate and the printer tells me to change the filament for the second color, it pulls out the old/new filament as it should, then asks me, if the new filament is ok. After I say yes, during the movement of the head to the print position, 2..3 cm of filament extrude, which is not good for the result.
