Print Fan Speed Lower Limit
Hi all,
I'm retrofitting a laser onto my MK3s for light engraving and cutting. I am using the print fan output on the board to supply PWM to the laser to control power.
I have noticed that between 0 and 15 the board doesn't actually output anything. I assume this is a limit in the firmware since the fan might not like being driven that low. I've had a poke around the github and I did find a contant MIN_PRINT_FAN_SPEED in 1_75mm_MK3S-EINSy10a-E3Dv6full.h
So here's my question...the value for that constant is 75, and I can't figure out how that relates to the PWM percentages I was seeing. Can anyone help me understand this?
