PQ issue

for the life of me I cant figure this issue out.

replaced nozzle and PTFE tube (added clip finally)
reset printer/recalibrated
tightened belts and cleaned/oiled shafts
took my octopi off.
my dice are my tests I know it's not the issue. (don't make me print more TARDI

gottta be something easy I missed.

I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

Re: PQ issue

no luck yet,

ive downgraded firmware/ then upgraded again.
made sure extractor was close for calibration.
got the "belt status" to 262/276. (belts are way too tight)
still no luck 🙁 im at the shaft and bearings point now 🙁
any ideas to try next?

im going to try rotating shafts see if it helps.

that funky mark on the 6 is not really giving me clues, but it is ALWAYS the same way. that's gotta be the clue.

ive changed filaments also

Re: PQ issue

If it were me, I'd try reslicing the object. Always bad in the same spot screams "gcode" to me.

trying that now, but the dice is just a test print, something is going on with the printer, and it kinda of happened all at once. perfect(ish) prints to ugly. all prints, well not my first layer tests, they all look good.

Re: PQ issue

yes, questionable help. but I think they don't notice it's a bad PQ issue not just close up "noise" but I just keep trying things. turning shafts 20 degrees is next on my list

Re: PQ issue

so do you guys think, if major changes happen with the rods. does it need to be recalibrated to notice changes?

so seems I should have thought of this before, but I move the print from the middle and the print cleared up. but now im sure im dealing with over tightened belts. BUTTT 80% beter comepared to the good one on the upper right.
new hardened steel shafts on its way.

Re: PQ issue

semi good news. I got it work much better, by playing Chinese fire drill with all 6 rods "2 tip ties and 13 screws" not bad.

the teal one on the right is from before the issues, the one next to it is the newest print, printed not in the center of my bed.

looks good enough to not have to mess with it when the mmu shows up (friday)

only thing ive noticed is the edges of the cube aren't as "flat" as im used too. white is horrible color to see in picture.
