pinda not reporting atate
So I got a mk3, been working great for a month or so. Stock firmware, running 3.5.0
I started a print, and the head crashed into the bed. Tried mesh leveling and got nothing. Full reset and it stilll crashes into the print bed.
The pinda probe light is on and the "check pinda status" shows state "1" (Led on), and when I put a piece of metal under it the LED light turns off but the software still reports the LED as on. unplug the pinda and still reports "LED on" state.
Are there any other troubleshooting steps I should do before assuming the pinda failed somehow? Is there a pinout or other technical specs for the probe online somewhere?

Re: pinda not reporting atate
er, shows "z0 led on", not z1
I can't get it to show a z1 at all.

Re: pinda not reporting atate
I tried swapping the pinda probe with a known working one, same result. Can't get the printer to detect when the probe is on or off.

Re: pinda not reporting atate
try to reinstall the firmware on v3.4.2 or there is no firmware error
Re: pinda not reporting atate
reloaded firmware and tried downgrading back to 1.4, no change.
Is there any documentation about the pinda probe anywhere?

Re: pinda not reporting atate
since you tried 2 different PINDAs my suspicion would center on the Ensie board
