My prints are failing. Belt tension?

Hi all,

My prusa mk3 has been printing perfectly untill a few weeks ago. Now the first line it prints is not smooth anymore and when i do a calibration print, the lines are not straight. First i thought it could be the tension on the belt, but that seems fine from the readout on the lcd screen.

Anyone an idea what this could be?

The two things obvious from your pictures are that your first layer 'Z' calibration is far too high, you need a lot more squish and that there is a buildup of something on your print sheet - a thorough clean is in order.

If your printer has been OK for a while something has changed, most likely is that you have knocked your PINDA out of position so if the 'Z' calibration is unsuccessful it might be worth resetting it; see step 17 of: https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-replace-superpinda-mk3s-mk3s_179920

And then run through: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/i3-printers-regular-maintenance_2072

If problems remain, come back and we'll look closer.

Cheerio,
