MMU2 N/A on support menu
Hi,
I have a mk2.5/mmu2 which I build up from a mk2s/mmu1. I used the printer for two days without problems after finalising the upgrade. I use the latest firmware. Today after startup it could no longer find the MMU2. Normally when the print starts up the MMU2 activates the two mmu steppers and allows the filament to load. Now the MMU2 is now longer recognised. The support tab on the screen states MMU2 N/A. The MMU2 board is still powered and the leds are all flashing red.
Is this a known issue? Searching the forum I did find at least one occasion where this problem seemed to be described. The post was without a solution though.

Its working again. I took apart the wiring and checked everything which appeared to be fine. The problem persisted though. Then I took a good look at the mmu2 and prodded it in frustration switching the printer on and off. It turns out it is sort of an error state related to the mmu2. I guess if you switch off the printer in loaded state and then remove the filament it falls into this mode when switched back on. I haven't gotten back to the failure mode again so this is just a guess.
