Mintemp bed error
Hello,
I got the mintemp bed error last night, today it says mintemp fixed, please restart.
Restarted and started a new print, but just when i started printing again it came up again "mintemp bed fixed, please restart".
Did it all over again and before it started printing the same msg again.
Anyone know how I can fix this?
RE: Mintemp bed error
I would check the Thermistor Cable and how it plugs in.

Checked cable and found a small broken part on the cable. Trying to disconnect it from the board but it wont come loose.
Probably a stupid question, but wich way am I supposed to take the safety latch? Up or down?

Toward the cable. I have found that a small piece of wire or tweezers can help release the latch.

RE: Mintemp bed error
I am seeing this error on one of my printers. It looks like the wires to the thermistor have failed just as the enter the housing at the rear of the bed. The wires are wrapped but there is no real strain relief and they look to have failed due to repetitive motion and stress.
I am guessing that the best solution is to replace the thermistor and buy a couple to have a spare on hand. I will also look at modifying the part to have a little more relief for the wires.

Add a length of 1.75 or 3 mm nylon filament into the bundle, attached/clamped at both ends of the harness. Like the 3mm filament in the extruder harness. It will distribute the flex over the entire harness length.

Do you have an image of how you did this?

Just route the filament with the wires, leave it long enough to clamp with the wires at the bed with the plastic housing, and do the same at the Einsy case clamp. Nothing fancy.
ps: 1.75 is easier than 3 mm.

There is the clip on the thermistor connector you have to push it correctly (the best a slim ladies fingers with bear power) to remove the plug from the socket.
