Midprint command to unload and reload filament

I am having a problem with my MK3. I replaced the hotend a couple weeks ago and printed over 100 little cars since. Changed to a different car and printed the first one fine. Now it stops mid print and asks me to unload the filament and reload it again. Over and over again. It can print for an hour with no problem and sometimes it will only print for 5 minutes without a problem. Doesn't seem jammed. I'm using the same filament as I did for the first 100 cars. I've changed nothing. Could this be a software problem?

It reads like you filament sensor is faulty.

As a cross check, temporarily disable the filament sensor (LCD menu) and the issue should clear.

Sometimes fine stringing or filament dust can jam the mechanism and a simple clean out will fix it.

Classic case of filament sensor either defective or just a bit out of alignment. Take it out and reseat it and see if that helps. The other simple fix: Disable the filament sensor in the LCD menu.
