Lubricant for Bondtech Extruder gears

Hi!

i'm trying to follow this guide for lubricant: https://help.prusa3d.com/l/en/article/3EMxwPQU0B-bondtech-extruder-gears

It says – "Put some lithium grease on the Bondtech extruder gear teeth", i have a grease (Texaco molytex ep2) but it's only rated for 180 °C.
Can this be a problem? Maybe there is higher temp in the extruder?

Also have another quetion.
When i try to update firmware and search for the printer in Slicer PE i can only find COM3, but in the guide it show the name of the printer. I'm sure the printer is connected to COM3 but shouldn't i see the name of the printer in Slicer?

boy if you get anywhere close to that 180 at the extruder you've got other problems, because your printer would be puddle of molten metal that point 😀

i've never flashed through slic3r, always used the updater tool and it just shows com3

yea maybe it was a dum quetion, was yust thinking that PLA melts at 210 °C and maybe there is high temp in the extruder. But the extruder is made of printed parts and haven't melted yet so i guess it's cool.
