Looking for the model files for the X-Axis trapezoidal nuts.
I am looking for the model files for the X-Axis trapezoidal nuts for the MK3/S printer.
These are the things that are printed in black ASA that ride on the Z-Axis screws..
My printer is an MK3/S and the particular part IS NOT in the library of MK3/s printable parts. I have that library, and that part is not in there.
I want to print the part out of nylon, which is not only stronger than ASA, but self-lubricating.

You probably mean this trapezoid nut:
These are cast from POM, have very good sliding properties and high wear resistance. These are usually purchased parts, therefore Prusa does not offer 3D data for them.
Possibly, however, this could be what you are looking for: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2246502

I would think that if those nuts are printed using common filaments on common 3d printers, the results may very well be disappointing in terms of precision and wear resistance.

Stumbled upon another one while looking for something else, and remembered this thread.

The designer of this one said he printed his out of some type of nylon filament. Having posted this, I will say I agree with Karl and JSW on the desirability of sourcing the proper manufactured nuts instead.
