I went through the Troubleshooting knowledge base and those were all ok, but I am getting various shift on every print now.  any ideas beyond the ones listed in the knowledge base?

If the hardware is 100% ok, it can only be due to the software. Do you print from the SD card or via a server. Does this also occur if you halve the printing speed. Can you hear an unusual noise during layer shifting?

Check y-axis.

Check belt if tension is good.

Check if grub screw on the belts are sitting OK.

Check if bed is not hitting something.

what do you see wen it happens, make a movie.

I ended up chatting with Prusa Tech Support,  they had me loosen the Y axis belt and grease the rails.

Fixed the issue.

@jasonkobes

Thanks for the feedback! Typical for layershifting: stiff axles, insufficient lubrication, belts that are too tight.

happy printing!
