Issue with flashing firmware
I have recently factory reset my i3 MK3, and I am now trying to flash the firmware back onto the printer. The issue is when I try to flash the printer wont show up as a serial port. I have the printer turned on and a USB type B connected to it. One question I have is: do I need to use the cable that came with the printer, or can I use any USB type B?
RE: Issue with flashing firmware
any standard USB A to B cable, should work
on the lcd menu, can you check that the internal Raspberry pi connection is turned off? the USB functionality is shared between the usb port and the internal raspi port!
are you using prusa slicer to flash the firmware?

RE: Issue with flashing firmware
Yes I am using the prusa slicer.
RE: Issue with flashing firmware
I turned off the RPi port and that did not fix the issue. the printer is still not showing up on the serial port list.
RE: Issue with flashing firmware
Oh dear. have you loaded the Prusa Driver set?

RE: Issue with flashing firmware
Yes, the main goal is to update the firmware to hopefully solve my problems with the first layer calibration.
