I'M IN MESH LEVELING HELL...MAKE IT STOP!!!!!

My MK3 WILL NOT LEVEL AND IVE HAD ENOUGH!!!! PRUSA SUPPORT HELP!!!!

I've read the blogs, I've read the notes,  I've dis-assembled and re-assembled, I've adjusted mesh level controls to raise and lower front, back, left, right, I've used OctoPrint plugins, I've installed physical levelers....I cannot get the bed to level.

Installed per spec, after a good Z-first layer calibration, I run a calibration sheet to cover most of the sheet and I can get adhesion most of the way around, but it is obvious from the PLA squish that the left side of the bed is a little high, and the right side is a little low (too much squish on the left, to little squish on the right).  I have installed levelers where I drop the left by .5mm and raise the right by .5mm and I get almost the exact same print!

Is the G80 mesh leveling command and the PINDA adjusting the mesh to the physical level of the bed overriding what I'm doing?!

I've been doing this for over a week with no progress...What is going on?!?!

If it were me: I would remove all the levelers you installed, set the firmware to seven point leveling - and call it a day.

The firmware will make up for minor differences in level.

I have also never had the urge to print a full bed calibration square.

The 2" ones are fine for setting Z - which is all you should really care about.

So I contacted prusa support, they requested information and pictures, which I sent, and haven't heard from anyone after a week.

I can software level the entire bed except for the far right column. In the attached picture,I this is my starting point. In later pictures I can fix the entire bed,this but the far right column will not change.

I think this is a firmware bug.

@lawrence-b2, In my experience with support, email doesn't make dialogues easy, where answers result in more questions.

Just contact Prusa support again via chat with the images ready. They might request more images to help understand the problem, so it's a good idea to have everything ready to send new pictures during your chat session. At least that's my experience; sometimes, solving a problem took a hundred minutes and eight pictures, but it got solved.

Here are some pictures.  This is with TPU to really accent the issue.

I'm able to adjust the front, back and left.  But no matter what I change the far right side column stays the same.

@bounty

Thanks for looking at it.  Here's a picture of the Frame with Z included.  I've run calibrations several times, even reset the printer firmware from scratch.

@bounty

I appreciate the advice, I've tried that, Thx.

I've done stuff to manually change it, calibrate bed leveling, bed leveling correction, added manual physical bed levelers, added a piece of paper or 3 under that side, taken apart and put back together, reloaded firmware, reset, etc etc etc.  Very frustrated.

Only thing I can think of is there is an issue in the firmware on adjusting that 'column'.

Two thoughts...

1. Have you put a straight edge on the bed to see the leveling is off?

2. Have you considered that rather than leveling, it is a thermal problem with that part of the bed not heating up as far as it should?

Please let us know when you track down the problem.

Is your bed flat?

Z calibrate, does the z axis hit the top on both sides? Does one side hit earlier then the other side.

Do you put oil(special oil) on the printer?

Is your first layer calibration from the original printer, always the same or is it different every time.

Find out how to do maintenance on the printer. Check all screws, your head could be lose. every 3 months you have to check screws.

Every month put oil on printer after first cleaning.

Do calibration always wen everything is hot on the printer.

Check if your filament is coming fast enough out of your printer, so it can be flatted to the bed.

@jerry-v2

Yes I have.

Have also run a temperature test.  This isn't a thermal issue, it is Z-position over the bed, on just the far right.

@peter-m26

Is your bed flat?  Yes

Z calibrate, does the z axis hit the top on both sides? Does one side hit earlier then the other side. No, and I have done Z-calibrate several times.

Do you put oil(special oil) on the printer?  Don't know what that means, I do not oil my printer.

Is your first layer calibration from the original printer, always the same or is it different every time. I am able to print consistently well all the time, just not on the far right column
