i3 MK3 XYZ Calibration Failed

Hello all,

I'm hoping I can get some help getting my printer back up and running. I've owned my printer since about August 2018, and for the first few months I had it running with no problems outside of the typical things like losing adhesion between the first layer of the print and the bed and whatnot. I was printing a phone stand out of PETG when I noticed the print had failed due to some gooping of the material at the nozzle head, so I canceled the print at the machine. As I made my way to my PC to stop the print from the Simplfy3D control center, the print started back up and the x-motor started driving itself into the right-hand end of the machine, grinding against the stop. I managed to shut down the print at my PC, and began cleaning up the machine to start over again.

This time, the print went very well up until about the same height that my last print had failed. At that point, the x-layer began shifting to the right of where it was supposed to be printing, and did so consistently on every model I tried to print. I've uploaded a few images of the phone stand and a benchy boat showing the shift to the right.

I tried recalibrating, but that didn't work, so I updated the firmware and tried again. This appears to have been my greatest mistake, as now the printer won't calibrate at all. I get to the step where the probe does the 4-point calibration and I keep a sheet of paper underneath, but it continues to fail and refer me to the manual. I've tried every step I can think of, and even spoke with some local printing buffs, but no solution has been found.

To make matters worse, I had lost my job at the start of the year and all my focus has been on finding new employment. I've found a great opportunity at a company I believe in, and they even want to begin incorporating 3D printing into their business model in the coming weeks and months. I want to demonstrate that I can contribute on this front in a meaningful way, and getting my printer running again is the best way I can think of doing this. If there's anything you can think of that I haven't tried, I will be forever grateful for your help. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have to help unravel this mystery.
