How to tell Slic3r to make the bottom and top layer in a constant sequence
Hello,
may be my issue is known and no solution possible, but I think my issue is a very common one.
Very often, when I have gaps in the surface of the bottom or the top layer, slic3r starts at on end with diagonal line, continues until it reaches the gap, than continues somewhere else until at a later point in time it closes the lines, previously left out. This results in surface, which does not look at nice as it could be.
Is there any option that I can switch on, which avoids this behavior. This means that the secuence of lines will not be disrupted, even if there as a gap in the surface.
Thanks for supporting,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
I understand that the best way to get this addressed is to raise an issue on the Prusa Git Hub...
and there my knowledge fails...

Coming from a Makerbot Replicator 2, this really struck me as odd. Makerbot prints have a much better finishing pattern. I submitted an issue for it: https://github.com/prusa3d/Slic3r/issues/1269
