How to change the MK3S print plate dimensions?
I changed the print settings for the print plate in the Prusa Slicer in x = 250, y = 216.5, starting position x = 0 y = -3. The values are recognized by the slicer. The gcode is generated and transmitted to the MK3S. Unfortunately, the printer does not accept the values set for the printing plate. It is still at x = 250 y = 210. Prusa Support said, that ist hardware coded. But I've read in the web, that it's possible to change the print plate dimensions. I need this only for only one 3D-print.
This can be done, but doesn't always work for every one. Not sure why. Maybe depends on the firmware used.
Have a look here: https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-how-do-i-print-this-printing-help/need-to-print-o216mm-footprint-on-i3mk3s/
How to change the MK3S print plate dimensions?
Thank you, Baklin! This is exactly what I was looking for! I'll give it a try...
@argonos
You need to go Y- with knob, "settings", "move axis", "Y" and check your "max" Y minus, that´s the number you type in "Origin"
Let's say you could go to "-4", then you type "4", positive, in Y-origin
Then go Y+ as long as you could, let's say your max is "213"
Add 213 to 4 ->217, type "217" in Y "size"
When I tried this on my machine I typed in bed size "215", origin "3" and the biggest part I could make with those settings was 214,9
Of course No Skirt or Brim, And adjust primeline
Prusa i3 MK3S+ FW 3.11.0 (kit dec -20), PrusaSlicer 2.6.1+win64, Fusion 360, Windows 10

@Ringarn67
thank you for your hints!
I'm also happy to found a solution in Baklin's ini-file in the given link above (216mm-mod).
I'm currently working with MK3S-firmware version 3.10.0 and Prusa Slicer Version 2.3.3
