Hotend thermistor does not show the correct temperature (Preheat Error)
Hello all,
I have the following problem. The printer shows a Preheat Error. Since the hotend is still heating, meaning the nozzle gets hot when I preheat the printer (until the error displays), I assumed that the thermistor is broken. I also determined this with someone in chat. Now I have replaced the thermistor and the display still shows 101 °C, although the printer has cooled down.
Can it be that the problem is directly on the board? But everything else works I think. Can I use a different connector on the board?
Also is it normal that the hotend can be rotated a bit?
Thanks already!
RE: Chat
Contact chat again, this must be either eisny issue or you need to do a thermistor issue.

RE: Chat
Yes, thank you, they also think it's the board - I'll test!
Solved - Printer works fine again
So I changed the board and it works again. Not sure what the problem was but since it works now 🙂
