Hotend doesn't stop heating

My hotend goes to the maximum temp and does not listen to temp settings.

I think it is the Einsy RAMBo board because I did something really stupid before this happend.
I have put the raspberry Zero on to the Einsy RAMBo board while the printer was on. I know really stupid and it
is something I normally wouldn't do but it happend.

So the raspberry doesn't work but that's ok, the prusa i3 mk3 is now heating up and their is no control.

What can I do before ordering a new Einsy RAMBo?

All help is appriciated.

Hi Joost,

does the hot end start heating immediately when you turn the printer on?

if it does, i suspect that you either have a wiring problem, or your hot end mosfet has gone short circuit

If the hot end does not start heating immediately then there is a chance that your einsy is ok

if then it starts heating when instructed either from the LCD or Gcode, but doesn't stabilise, then it's possible that the firmware is corrupt,

you could try reloading the firmware.

Hi Joan,

does the hot end start heating immediately when you turn the printer on? Yes immediately and after a while I get the high temp error with beep.
So I guess the Hot end Mosfet is gone because I've done nothing with the wiring and the printer was printing before. So I can rule out the wiring.

Flashing firmware doesn't solve the problem neither, I've just tried that.
